ACCOMMODATION

Do you want more information about where to stay during the long weekend? The show is held at Hunderfossen Camping in Fåberg, a village close to Lillehammer (about a 20 minute drive) and Hafjell (about 10-20 minute drive). Right next to the show area is Hunderfossen Amusement Park, which can be a lovely addition to your trip if you want to make it into a holiday.

Here are some tips on where to find accommodation during your stay. If you are bringing dogs, please make sure to clarify this with the accommodation before booking.

Hunderfossen Hotell
Hunderfossen Hotel has hotel rooms, apartments, and cabins only a short walk from the show area. Unfortunately, the number of rooms is limited, and it can be hard to find available rooms. Make sure to inform the hotell that you are attending Japanspesialen when booking your stay to use the event-discount.

Hunderfossen Camping
Hunderfossen Camping is right by the show area and is open for vans, campers, and tents. They do not accept bookings online, so please contact them at camping@hunderfossen.no with all questions.

Scandic Hafjell
This hotel is about a 7-minute drive from the show area.

Hafjell Hotell
Hafjell Hotell is another hotel about 7 minutes of driving from the show area. They have hotel rooms, apartments and cabins.

Topcamp Rustberg
This campsite is a 14 minute drive from the show area. You can book a cabin or bring your own caravan, motorhome, or tent.

AirBnB
There are a lot of private cabins and apartments available in Fåberg and Hafjell, as well as surrounding areas. This is a great option if you want something more private or are traveling as a big group of people.

There are more hotels, cabins and campsites available in the nearby area. Please use Fåberg and Hafjell as your search. If you are willing to drive longer, Lillehammer might be a great option with a lot of available accommodation.

We look forward to seeing you in May!
